🏠 BUILDING YOUR FIRST BASE 🧱🚪


Your base = your safe zone 🛡️. Don’t let raiders waltz right in!

  • 🌄 Location: Avoid the high-traffic spots! Go rural and stay near resources 🌾.
  • 📐 Design: Simple 1x1 or 2x1 with an airlock (double doors = raiders cry 😢).
  • 🪨 Upgrade to stone ASAP! Wood walls are paper thin… don’t risk it!

🛌 SLEEPING BAG HACKS 🥷💤


  • Always place a bag inside your base (duh) 🏡.
  • Pro tip: Hide extra sleeping bags in bushes nearby 🌿 (backup spawn spots = genius 😉).
  • 🚫 Keep them at least 40 meters apart to avoid cooldown overlaps!


Keep it roughly 40 meters away so it won’t overlap your sleeping bags inside of your base regarding the cooldown timer.

🛠️ BASE UPKEEP = NO DECAY 🪵🪨


  • Build a Tool Cupboard (TC) inside your base.
  • Feed it wood, stone, metal fragments regularly 🧺.
  • No upkeep = base melts away while you sleep… don’t be that guy 🫠.


You can keep all different resource types inside of the cupboard as well as extra storage slots for any tool items at the top 5 slots.


📍 EXPLORING MONUMENTS 🏭🗺️

Rust’s world is massive and packed with mysterious structures called Monuments — these are hotspots for loot, danger, and adventure! 💰💀 Whether you're looking for scrap, tools, or action, monuments are the place to be. Just remember… radiation is real ☢️ and it'll melt your face off if you're not ready 😅.


⚠️ Radiation Protection Levels ☢️

Here’s a breakdown of how much rad protection you’ll need, and what gear to bring:


🔅 Low Radiation (10 Protection)

Easy to access but still risky without gear!

  • 🛰️ Dome (Inside)
  • 📡 Satellite Dish Array

  • 🧥 Gear Needed: Full set of burlap will do the trick 👌


🔶 Medium Radiation (20 Protection)

A little tougher — better gear = better chances!

We don’t recommend putting your best gear in stashes in the event a cheater possibly loots your stash. Keep just a small gear set so you stand a fighting chance when respawning.
