Building Your First Base
Your first base should be small, closed, and expandable. A 1x2 with airlock, TC, furnace, and boxes is enough to stabilize.
Simple plan
- Work in small goals and bank loot often.
- Keep wood, stone, and cloth in reserve.
- Listen, watch roads, and scout monuments before committing.
- Upgrade only what you can maintain.

- Roaming too far with all your loot.
- Building without a Tool Cupboard or airlock.
